About Us

Camp Ho Mita Koda, founded in 1929, is the oldest residential camp for children with diabetes. The camp's programs are designed for children with diabetes to have fun, make friends, and learn about diabetes. Each session offers recreational activities and diabetes education.

Camp Ho Mita Koda is a program of Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland (formerly Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland), a local nonprofit organization, not affiliated with the American Diabetes Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Camp Ho Mita Koda's residence camp is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association, complying with 300 national health, safety, and program quality standards.
